Woodstock Farm Sanctuary

In 2018 Cronin, along with 19 other artists including our friends, Ron English of Popaganda and Darryl Jenifer of Bad Brains created sculptures for the Woodstock Farm Sanctuary  to raise funds and awareness for their work with rescue farm animals. CronArtUSA hosted the Woodstock Farm Sanctuary and the artists at Water Street Market in August of 2018 and raised over $10,000 that went directly to the sanctuary to care for the animals. This partnership was just another example of our work with not for profits that are driven by a mission to be agents of change.
Cronin enjoyed creating this piece and pushing the project to the limit. Each artist was given a blank slate, ceramic pig and asked to paint it. Cronin did just that, but then created a seven foot pedestal to honor the pig and adorned it with a pair of wings that said, "Today Is The Day." The piece was sold during the online bidding the day of the event to a woman in Florida, but when she realized the sculpture towered over 8 feet she declined the purchase and it went to the next highest bidder, the Mayor of New Paltz who know proudly displays it in his living room.
